How much does an AI consultant cost?

At Oakville AI, the intro call is free. The AI starting plan is $350, tool setup starts at $750, workflow automation starts at $1,500 and troubleshooting is $150 per hour. All prices are in CAD. Software, usage fees and taxes are extra. See costs and pricing.

How much does an AI consultant charge per hour?

Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?

No. You don’t need an ongoing subscription to work with Oakville AI, and projects are quoted one at a time. AI software may have its own fees, and we’ll talk through those up front.

Getting started.

Is the intro call really free?

Yes. The 30-minute call is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. Paid work starts only after a written agreement covering scope and price.

Do I need to know which AI tool I want?

No. The AI starting plan ($350) is a 60-minute working session. You leave with a shortlist of tools that suit your budget and current software, plus written next steps. About tool setup.

Can AI help small businesses?

It can help with specific tasks such as inquiry intake, meeting follow-up or repeatable content. A person should still review the output. Oakville AI starts with one real task, and sometimes a simple template or an existing feature is enough.

Will an AI workflow work with the software I already use?

It depends on the tools. The intro call covers the software you already use, and integrations are defined in a written quote before any automation work starts. About workflow automation.

Services.

Do you set up AI receptionist tools?

Yes. Max sets up off-the-shelf AI receptionist and call-answering tools: what the tool can say, what details it collects and when it hands off to a person. Oakville AI doesn’t sell its own receptionist product. Setup is scoped on the free intro call and quoted in writing as tool setup or workflow automation.

Do you offer AI training for staff?

Yes. Max trains owners and staff on the tools your business chooses, using your own workflow: how to use them, what to check and what information to keep out. Training is scoped on the free intro call and quoted in writing.

Which AI tools do you work with?

It depends on your task and the software you already use. Options often include general assistants such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, AI features built into your existing software and dedicated tools for a specific job. They’re options to compare, not endorsements, and Oakville AI isn’t affiliated with any AI vendor.

Data and privacy.

Is ChatGPT safe for confidential or personal information?

It depends on the product, the plan and its settings, such as training use, retention and storage. Start with sample data that doesn’t identify a real person, share as little as possible, and check the actual provider settings. This is general information, not legal advice. Read more in the customer data checklist.

Meeting and location.

Do you meet in person?

Yes. Max meets clients in person across Halton, including Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills. The free intro call is a video call, and you can arrange an in-person meeting on that call.

By industry.

What can AI do for a contractor, plumber or electrician?

Common starting points are organizing incoming inquiries, drafting follow-ups for a person to review and setting up an AI receptionist tool to answer common calls. Oakville AI scopes one workflow at a time, and no specific time saving is promised. AI for trades and home services.

Can AI help with physio or chiro notes?

Clinics do look at AI notes and scribe tools. Oakville AI can help you compare options and check provider settings before any real patient information is used. The clinician stays responsible for reviewing every note. AI for physio and chiro clinics.

What are the best AI tools for realtors?

Can AI answer booking inquiries for my salon?

Some tools can draft or handle messages, and Max sets up off-the-shelf AI receptionist tools. First, check what your booking software already does, because sometimes the answer is a feature you already have. A person should decide where review is needed. AI for salons.

Can AI help an accounting or bookkeeping firm?

It can help with the admin around the work, such as client intake, document requests and meeting follow-up, as drafts a person reviews. Confidential client files need extra care. AI for accountants and bookkeepers.
